Does Vegan Cheese Melt?

Hey guys, I’m just wondering if anyone has tried melting vegan cheese before? I know it’s made from plant-based ingredients, but does that mean it won’t melt like regular cheese? I’m trying to cut back on dairy, but I still want to enjoy a good grilled cheese sandwich every now and then. Any tips or recommendations for a good brand of vegan cheese that melts well would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
